John Stockton

Born March 26, 1962, in Spokane, Washington, was legendary NBA guard of the Utah Jazz, John Stockton. He set the standard for point guards, and unselfish play in the NBA, dishing out assists to teammates on a consistent basis over his career. Stockton was a member of the Dream Team that won Olympic gold in 1996. He was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame as John was a ten-time NBA All-Star, five-time defensive player award, and nine-time assist champ of the NBA.

The basketball career of John Stockton, from the US Olympic Committee. The Gonzaga Zags product had a Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame career with the Utah Jazz. He led the NBA in assists nine different seasons and was selected as a five-time defensive first team and won an Olympic gold medal with the 1996 Dream Team. He is one of the Top NBA players to have ever worn Jersey Number 12.
